We are seeking Software QA Engineer – Associates to validate enterprise web application platforms, including Web UIs and GraphQL / REST APIs, in a fast-paced R&D environment. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps teams, and collaborate with Siemens’ Quality Center of Excellence to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Review business and software requirements and contribute early QA inputs in a shift-left Agile environment. Perform end-to-end testing of enterprise web applications, including Web UI and API workflows. Design, maintain, and automate functional and regression test cases for UI and API testing. Execute manual and automated tests across multi-platform (Windows/Linux) environments and analyze results. Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and root-cause insights. Collaborate effectively with QA, Development, DevOps, Product, and Documentation teams to improve quality and delivery speed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 3–5 years of experience in Software QA, testing enterprise web or platform products. Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex) and API testing. Working knowledge of Linux environments, scripting (Python, Shell, JavaScript), and cross-platform testing. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, bug tracking tools (JIRA), and version control systems (Git/GitLab). Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed Agile teams.
