Role: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Remote Contract

Are you passionate about ensuring top-tier software quality and eager to work remotely on mission-critical projects. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering reliable, high-quality software by designing, executing, and managing comprehensive testing processes across staging and production environments. Your expertise will help safeguard our releases, ensuring seamless functionality and user satisfaction.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in software development, testing, or quality assurance
• Strong proficiency in functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing in staging and production
• Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as ALM, VersionOne, or similar
• Ability to create, execute, and manage automated tests using Playwright
• Proven ability to review test requirements, prepare test data, and document testing activities thoroughly
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience with formal test planning and reporting
• Experience in performance testing or other automation tools
• Knowledge of deployment processes and system configuration validation

Preferred Education and Experience

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Extensive experience testing complex software applications and identifying or documenting defects
• Leadership experience overseeing testing teams or mentoring junior staff
