Brivo is seeking a visionary Director of Software Quality Assurance to lead and scale our global QA strategy across a diverse and cutting-edge portfolio of cloud software, mobile/web client applications, and integrated hardware.
As the unified global leader in AI-driven cloud video surveillance and access control, our systems protect over 600 million square feet across 90+ countries. In this executive role, you will lead a globally distributed organization of over 40 quality assurance professionals. You will serve as the primary catalyst for our next evolution: driving a sweeping team transformation from manual testing to a highly automated, AI-orchestrated QA ecosystem utilizing tools like Claude.ai and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive, global quality assurance strategy aligned with our high-growth business objectives. Lead, mentor, and inspire a globally distributed organization of 40+ QA professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Present key quality metrics and strategic initiatives to senior management, providing clear visibility into product health across all platforms.
AI Transformation & Automation
Drive the AI Revolution in QA: Spearhead the team’s transformation from manual testing to highly automated test creation, orchestration, and results analysis leveraging Claude.ai. Champion the implementation of modern test automation frameworks and tools to maximize efficiency, specifically utilizing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep our QA processes at the absolute cutting edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
Define, enforce, and scale quality standards, metrics, and best practices across cloud software, mobile/web apps, and hardware components. Partner tightly with Product Management, Software Development, Hardware Engineering, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded deeply into every stage of the product lifecycle. Develop comprehensive test strategies encompassing functional, performance, and security testing for all product components. Lead rapid issue resolution, working with development and operations to implement effective root cause analyses and preventative actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of proven leadership experience in global quality assurance, preferably within the SaaS industry.
Demonstrated scale: A strong track record of successfully managing globally distributed teams of 40+ members. Deep expertise in modern QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, with mandatory experience in cloud-based software testing. Proven experience driving CI/CD automation and utilizing modern tooling (experience with LLMs/AI tools like Claude.ai is a massive advantage). Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional VPs and stakeholders.
Preferred: Experience in testing mobile/web client applications and hardware integrations.
Bonus: Familiarity with regulatory requirements in video surveillance, access control, or similar IoT industries.

The fixed base salary for this full-time role ranges from $170,000 to $190,000 USD. Individual compensation packages are based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions.
