Role & seniority: Senior/Lead Formal Verification Engineer (GPU hardware); potential to lead, coach and mentor teammates.
Stack/tools: Formal verification concepts, methodologies and tools; ASIC design methodologies/flows; complex bus protocols (AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE, AXI); ABVIP integration; UVM (nice-to-have); scripting language / C / SystemC (nice-to-have); ISO26262 (nice-to-have).
Deliver formal verification activities for a GPU component/sub-system from planning to sign-off; design and implement verification strategies; track/close verification metrics.
Root-cause design issues with cross-team collaboration; contribute to verification plans, benches, methodology, and reviews; influence and advance verification processes.
Plan, estimate and track own work; mentor other team members; participate in design/verification reviews and share knowledge.
Strong knowledge of formal verification concepts, methodology and tools; experience applying formal verification to complex micro-architectures.
Ability to develop bespoke techniques for exhaustive proofs and deep bug-hunting; experience with abstractions, invariants, SEC, etc.
Knowledge of standard bus protocols and ABVIP integration; working knowledge of ASIC design flows/methodologies; ability to plan and track work.

Be responsible for the delivery of formal verification activities related to a GPU component or sub-system from early stages of verification planning to sign-off Design and implement formal verification strategies to achieve our design quality goals. Root-cause design issues in collaboration with other engineers. Research new formal verification techniques and continuously drive the scope of what can be achieved with formal verification. Create verification plans, develop and maintain formal methodology and complex benches Track and report verification metrics and closure Participate in all stages of design specification definition providing feedback from the verification perspective Be responsible for the definition, effort estimation and tracking of your own work Be able to influence and advance our GPU verification methodology Have the opportunity to lead, coach and mentor other members of the team Participate in design and verification reviews and recommend improvements Contribute to team shared knowledge via open discussions and presentations
