Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Regional Applications Team in the position of Data & Automation Engineer. This position is responsible for managing data related requests for EMEA and Americas. It comprises two main functions of delivering outputs, such as ETL processes, data warehousing and data modelling, and automating solutions for business users.
Define data needs across systems and develop and implement custom solutions with focus on Fabric and Azure Create and manage data pipelines and data warehouses using Microsoft Fabric and other tools Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions Document business requirements, operating procedures, and data-related solutions Ingest and transform data from various sources, often involving API integrations and ETL/ELT processes Provide technical insights and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle Work with Microsoft PowerPlatform to deliver automations
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or supply chain logistics Five years of Microsoft Fabric (or equivalent) expertise Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and other MS Azure Technologies Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases and building complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting Strong knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, .Net, C#, Java or other configuration/scripting type technology is a plus Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and teamwork/collaboration skills Fluent in English to a high-level
