Stack/tools: API testing (Postman), JMeter (performance testing), test case design, Jira or Azure DevOps; basic defect tracking and documentation

Design, execute and optimize test scenarios and performance test plans for package applications

Must-have skills

Full Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Quality Assurance/Performance Test Engineer to join our team of ΙΤ professionals on behalf of one of our major clients within the Greek market. The candidate will play a key role in the creating of new test scenarios and performance test execution related to technology-based business solutions to improve our clients' delivery approach and overall product quality.
Responsibilities
Design and execute testing scenarios/test cases for package applications implemented using custom technologies Execute performance testing phases Understand business requirements Design optimized test scenarios, plan testing activities and estimate test efforts Identify test environment and test data requirements, identify dependencies on external and internal applications Report test status, log and document defects Support defect resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements
Requirements
Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory) 1+ years of experience as a test engineer (automation/performance or manual testing) Banking experience will be considered as strong plus Basic understanding of Performance testing life cycle and related terminologies Good understanding and hands-on experience of API testing (e.g using postman ) Basic understanding and working experience of Jmeter tool for Performance testing Basic experience in Perf test planning/Execution/ reporting Experience in documenting test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases to verify that a systemic/application is built as per the requirements Good knowledge of Jira or Azure DevOps Experience in working and interacting with client facing, technology and project management teams Strong documentation skills Problem solving, organization and communication skills Presentation skills and ability to successfully interact with stakeholders Excellent command of the English language
