About the Role Freecharge is looking for a highly skilled Lead SDET to drive quality engineering initiatives across our platforms. You will own the automation strategy, mentor QA engineers, and work closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and system testing.
Define and implement automation strategy, test architecture, and best practices across teams.
Drive integration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites for daily and release cycles.
Mentor and guide SDET/QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high engineering standards.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to embed quality early in the SDLC and Agile processes.
Ensure seamless CI/CD integration of automated tests using Jenkins and related tools.
Analyze test results, identify quality risks, and proactively improve test coverage and reliability.
Own defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
