Job Description
In this role, you will analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans for identified problem areas to reduce supplier DPPM and nonconformance rates. You will employ Six Sigma and Lean concepts to enhance supplier quality and delivery metrics and provide training in basic quality methodologies to foster strong supplier partnerships. Supporting programs that assess potential new suppliers and implementing Supplier Partnership concepts with focus suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities. You will review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, machining, fabrication, and electro-mechanical systems. Additionally, you will perform and evaluate root cause and corrective actions to remedy product or process deficiencies, ensuring their effective implementation with suppliers. Your role includes executing elements of Advanced Product Quality Planning, such as Process Flow Diagrams, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, and First Article Inspections. You will also perform SPC, Predictive Quality methodologies, and other problem-solving techniques. Furthermore, you will implement Zero Defect Plans (ZDP) with critical suppliers, serving as the key technical interface between suppliers and L3Harris by aiding suppliers in developing robust processes, carrying out process/product validations, and recommending improvements in manufacturability, both in process and design.
Essential Functions
Support L3Harris operations when supplied material is identified as nonconforming and take appropriate corrective action(s) with the supplier Work proactively with L3Harris suppliers utilizing tools such as APQP and Zero-Defect Planning to mitigate the risk of escapes to L3Harris and/or L3Harris customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Secret US Security Clearance

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is MIN: $96,000.00 - MAX: $178,000.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $84,000.00 Min - $156,000.00 Max. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
