QA Engineer
Location: Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week
Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a collaborative Agile development team. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through hands-on manual and automated testing, close partnership with developers, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Responsibilities
Participate in daily scrum meetings with developers and the Scrum Master to review user stories and features in development. Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing application features. Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and suites to support regression and functional testing. Identify, analyze, document, and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies through resolution. Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or test engineering roles. Deep knowledge of QA principles, testing strategies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). Proven experience implementing and executing automated tests using tools such as Selenium. Working experience with Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, and CI/CD support. Strong experience with test automation frameworks and one or more scripting or programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, or Java. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.
