Role & seniority: QA/QA Automation Intern (internship); potential-based hiring (not require perfect CV)
Stack/tools: UI/API manual testing; Postman for REST APIs; Playwright for E2E automation; k6 and JMeter for load testing; Prometheus for test metrics
Perform manual testing of CipherSchools UI and API; write/maintain test cases, scenarios, and bug reports
Run functional, regression, and smoke tests around releases; test REST APIs; develop and execute E2E automation
Monitor metrics, triage and verify bug fixes with developers; help establish a consistent QA process across releases
Demonstrated testing experience through meaningful internship or projects; strong mindset toward QA
Ability to write test cases, bug reports, and perform basic API testing
Willingness to learn tooling and contribute to process improvement
Experience with Playwright, Postman, k6/JMeter, and basic performance testing
Familiarity with QA processes, regression testing, and collaborative bug triage

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Perform manual testing of the CipherSchools web application- UI and API Write and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports that developers can act on without asking follow-up questions Run functional, regression, and smoke testing before and after releases Test REST APIs using Postman- validate response payloads, status codes, and edge cases Write and maintain E2E automation tests using Playwright Run load and performance tests using k6 and JMeter to surface bottlenecks before they affect learners Monitor test metrics using Prometheus and flag regressions proactively Collaborate with developers to triage, prioritise, and verify bug fixes Help establish and document a QA process the team can follow consistently across releases
On experience level: We are hiring for potential, not a perfect CV. If you have done meaningful internship or project work in testing and you want to build something real, we want to hear from you. We will teach the tools- we cannot teach the mindset.
