About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Job Captain to join our vibrant construction team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including modular building designs and DSA (Department of State Architects) projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating project teams through all phases of design and construction, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities, from creating detailed architectural drawings to liaising with clients and stakeholders. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience within the construction or architectural industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software is essential, along with experience in modular building design and DSA projects. A strong eye for detail, excellent drafting and design skills, and a solid understanding of construction codes and standards are required. Effective project management skills, coupled with the ability to lead and coordinate teams, are critical for success in this role. Strong communication skills are necessary to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. A degree in architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by substantial relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the project team through all phases of design and construction, from initial concept to project completion. Create detailed and accurate architectural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other drafting tools. Oversee the design and development of modular buildings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Participate in DSA projects, overseeing drafting and design processes to meet DSA requirements. Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly understood and achieved. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, resolving design or construction issues as they arise. Regularly review and update project documentation, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Participate in project meetings and presentations, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
