NuLeaf Farms designs and deploys automation and AI infrastructure for greenhouses and indoor farms.
Our automation and data platform integrates PLC logic, sensor networks, cloud databases, and operational analytics to optimize crop production and facility performance.
We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a hands-on Controls & Automation Engineer to help design, build, deploy, and support our production systems. You will be working directly with live industrial control systems deployed in commercial agricultural facilities.
You will help expand and support NuLeaf’s automation platform across multiple farm deployments.
Industrial Automation & PLC Programming Develop and maintain PLC logic using Codesys Configure and support SCADA software Integrate sensors, pumps, lighting, HVAC, fertigation, and environmental control systems Troubleshoot live automation systems remotely and onsite
Data Systems & Integration Build and maintain data pipelines between PLCs, MySQL, Airtable, and cloud systems Configure OPC-UA, Node-RED, APIs, and database connections Ensure reliable data capture, storage, and system uptime Support reporting and analytics infrastructure
Technical Drafting & Documentation Create system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics Produce clear technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment guides Support proposal and project engineering documentation
