About the Opportunity We are supporting a high-growth, bank-backed FinTech startup building a next-generation financial data platform. The mission is to transform how global financial institutions process and manage complex market data by streamlining critical ingestion, validation, and delivery workflows. We are looking for a QA Engineer who thrives on technical ownership. This isn't about manual or automated testing. You will sit at the intersection of Backend Engineering and DevOps, ensuring the reliability of high-stakes data pipelines and complex API architectures.
What You’ll Do
Own Quality End-to-End: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites that cover APIs, integration points, and complex data pipelines.
Data Validation: Ensure the integrity of ingestion flows and file-based workflows (CSV/Parquet), testing for edge cases, failures, and backward compatibility.
Optimize Strategy: Improve our testing lifecycle (UAT, Staging, Production-like environments) and define clear release quality gates.
CI/CD Integration: Work within GitLab CI to bake automated testing into our deployment pipelines.
Collaborative Engineering: Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews to ensure "testability" is built-in from day one.
