Role & seniority: Senior ATE Engineer (7+ years relevant; 7–10 years total experience)
Stack/tools: Automated Test Equipment design/development; electrical schematics; BOM preparation; control panels; cable harnesses; data acquisition & control systems; pneumatic and vacuum circuits; power distribution; safety/ergonomics; SEMI S2/S8
Lead end-to-end projects from start to deployment and commissioning (independently)
Design details, schematics, drawings, BOMs; perform design reviews; build and validate test fixtures
Deploy/commission test fixtures at site (travel 2–3 weeks); provide regular project updates and create test procedures
Hands-on design, build, and deployment of Automated Test Equipment
Electrical schematic design, BOM creation, control panels, cable harnesses
Field deployment, troubleshooting, documentation; strong cross-functional communication
Experience with data acquisition/control systems; safety/ergonomics; project scoping (SOW) and cost/lead-time estimation
Fluid systems knowledge; pneumatic/vacuum circuits; component selection
Noise isolation, grounding, signal conditioning
Software debugging/integration; SEMI S2/S8 standards

What You Need

Responsibilities
Below are the details of R&R for each Test Engineer
Able to handle the projects from start to deployment and commissioning
independently
Part of each project (New/upgrade), Engineer able to perform following tasks independently
SOW Creation
Details design with schematic/drawings
Detail BOM
Design reviews
Software, Mechanical interactions
Regular Project updates to PM and Manager
Parts procurement which involves Vendor and sourcing team interaction
Test Fixture build, debug, validate
Test fixture deployment and commissioning at site, which requires travel for 2-3 Weeks
Create Test Procedures
Our Ideal Candidate
Excellent Hands on experienced in designing, build and deployment ofAutomated Test Equipment.
Highly experienced in designing of electrical schematics , BOM preparation,
control panel and cable harnesses
Hands on experience in field deployment, troubleshooting issues and
documentation.
Excellent Communication skills within team and cross functional teams.
Good understanding on project requirement, statement of work and ability to independently provide concept with lead time and cost proposal.
Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience. 7-10 years of total experience.
Additional Qualifications
Good knowledge and hands on experience on Data Acquisition & control system
Good knowledge and hands on experience on Power distribution system
Design for Safety and Ergonomics requirements
Pneumatic circuits, Vacuum circuit and component selection
Value add if has good knowledge on fluid system and mechanics
Noise isolation, grounding techniques, Signal condition
