Job Description
We are seeking a licensed architect with over 10 years of experience to lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for architectural document production. This role is critical to ensuring that all drawings and specifications are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural standards, document coordination, and construction processes, along with strong leadership skills to oversee and guide the production team.
Responsibilities
Review and approve all architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Oversee the entire document production process, ensuring timeliness and adherence to quality standards. Develop and enforce QA/QC protocols for all projects, including additions and renovations. Mentor and support project teams in producing high-quality documents and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of design documents. Evaluate candidate and team drawings for precision and clarity before submission. Utilize Revit for document review and coordination.
Essential Skills
Licensed Architect with 5-10+ years of professional expertise in QA/QC processes for architectural projects. Strong knowledge of construction documentation standards and best practices. Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software. Experience managing document production for complex projects, especially in healthcare, labs, and education sectors.
