The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Systems Engineer - Integration, Verification & Validation (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will support the Space Launch System (SLS) program providing a critical heavy-lift capability, powering people and cargo to our moon and beyond into deep space to enable diverse exploration, science and security missions.
As a member of the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team, the individual in this role will lead efforts in the development and verification of requirements for the SLS vehicle. Effective coordination and collaboration with Boeing team members and NASA customers are essential skills that require technical problem-solving, thorough analysis, and a deep understanding to translate requirements into system, hardware, and software design specifications, as well as interface control documents. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, is comfortable interacting with diverse cultures, and has a passion for space exploration. As system engineers, the goal is to apply common products, processes and tools across subsystems in pursuit of programmatic objectives.
