Job Summary
What You Will Do
Reporting to the AUTP Program Leader, with a dotted line to the Unify Global Test Lead, the AUTP Testing Tower Lead is responsible for defining, planning, and executing the overall testing strategy for the AUTP program. This includes Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The role partners closely with AUTP Tower Leads, Business Owners, Delivery Partners, Global Unify teams, and local function leads to ensure testing readiness, execution, and issue resolution. Key responsibilities include managing test scope, resources, schedules, spoke engagement, and overall UAT coordination to support a high‑quality SAP implementation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Refine and tailor the AUTP test approach for the region, ensuring alignment with global project objectives and the Program Test Strategy. Define and track testing scope for each test cycle across the Americas. Ensure adherence to globally established test metrics, entry/exit criteria, and success measures. Collaborate closely with the Global Testing team, AUTP IT and Data Tower Leads, Project Delivery Leads, and Spoke Test Managers to understand timelines, deliverables, and dependencies. Serve as the primary local point of contact for all test activities and ensure alignment between global and regional teams. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including data, integration, process, and business stakeholders. Lead UAT planning, preparation, execution, and closure; support other test phases requiring Americas business involvement. Partner with Global Testing and the SI to manage and coordinate SIT activities. Develop detailed regional test plans aligned with Unify project timelines. Manage AUTP business test scope, requirements, test scripts, and test cases specific to Americas operations and compliance. Create and monitor the test execution schedule; align testers, level workloads, and ensure effective resource use while minimizing business disruption. Coordinate business testers for UAT and retesting activities; ensure execution follows the defined schedule. Ensure proper testing coverage of local customizations, regional SAP configurations, and critical spoke systems. Track, prioritize, and report defects; manage communication and documentation with global teams. Partner with Business Process Leads (BPL) and Business Process Experts (BPE) to resolve issues quickly. Verify compliance with AUTP‑specific legal, regulatory, and operational requirements, including tax codes and payroll configurations. Engage local business stakeholders to validate that regional needs are addressed in testing. Provide regular progress updates to regional and global leadership, highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Identify testing‑related risks and develop plans to ensure continuity and readiness for deployment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Key Capabilities
Previous experience in an SAP Test Leader role, working with multiple parties including senior business stakeholders and third-party vendors Preferably managed or led multiple SAP testing deployments (ideally with global programme exposure) Experience with SAP Testing Tools Very strong communication and collaboration skills; Collaborative mindset across business functions & testing. Cultural understanding and experienced working in multi-cultural teams across different time zones Ability to operate in a complex environment with multiple workstreams in flight and capable of understanding the interdependencies within and the program Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university +10 years test management experience Significant deployment and test management experience in both business and SAP Demonstrated Influencing and leadership skills, including negotiation and conflict management combined with a strong service orientation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
