The role focuses on creating fully automated, repeatable, and scalable Azure environments that support modern application workloads. The engineer will work closely with application, UI, and AI teams to enable end-to-end provisioning of Azure infrastructure, security, identity, networking, and application hosting services through code-driven deployments.
This role is execution-focused and requires deep hands-on experience with Azure-native services and automation tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, ARM Templates, scripts, and/or Terraform.
Build end-to-end automated deployment workflows for Azure resources including compute, networking, storage, security, and platform services.
Provision and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, load balancers, and DNS.
Implement identity and access management using Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identities, RBAC, and Key Vault.
Automate deployment of application hosting services such as App Services, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Functions, and supporting resources.
Integrate infrastructure provisioning with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Ensure infrastructure aligns with Azure security best practices, governance standards, and cost optimization principles.
Support environment creation for development, testing, and production using parameterized and reusable IaC modules.
Collaborate with application and AI engineers to ensure required Azure services are provisioned and integrated correctly.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and continuously improve automation scripts and templates.
