The Test Lead will provide technical leadership the software testing organization reporting to , responsible for overall quality assurance across unit, integration, and regression testing.

Additionally, the lead will drive automation adoption (including AI-enabled testing), and ensure seamless integration of testing processes across the release cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor software test teams focused on functional and regression, and system testing. Define and execute testing strategy aligned with engineering goals. Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management. Implement and scale automation frameworks (Playwright, etc.). Partner with development and DevOps teams to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines. Track KPIs such as test coverage, automation ROI, and defect metrics. Report readiness, quality trends, and improvement plans to senior management.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 7+ years in software testing, preferably 2 3 years in a leadership role.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of functional and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation framweorks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Scripting in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes.

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred: Experience with cloud-based testing (Azure).
