Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Integration/Test Engineer. This person will become a member of our Systems Integration & Test team to support our integrated test initiatives; which includes a combination of Day-In-The-Life (DITL) testing, as well as formal test execution of newly developed capabilities. The successful candidate will be pursuing their degree in a science or technology related discipline and experience in at least one of these skill or computer language areas: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, and LINUX/UNIX, system software and scripting development, Java programming, web development, System analysis, System design, Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software Test. Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Acceptable degree programs will include only science and technology related programs such as
Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Physics, Mathematics Experience in at least one of these skill areas: System software & scripting development, software programming, system analysis & design, software design & development, software integration & test Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of basic system engineering practices such as coding standards, unit testing, configuration management, database, system administration. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
