Role Overview
-
The Test Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust test automation and performance engineering strategies across enterprise-grade applications. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in modern testing frameworks, CI/CD integration, and scalable performance testing.

Key Responsibilities
o Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve test automation architecture using tools like Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, and AccelQ
o Framework Development: Build and maintain automation frameworks for unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.. as well as migration from Selenium to AccelQ
o Performance Engineering: Design and execute performance test strategies using JMeter or equivalent tools LoadRunner, or cloud-based tools; analyze bottlenecks and optimize application performance
o CI/CD Integration: Embed test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
o Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC
o Mentorship & Governance: Guide SDETs and QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to testing best practices and security standards
o Documentation & Reporting: Maintain architecture documents, test strategies, traceability matrices, and performance dashboards

o Performance Tools: JMeter/ LoadRunner/ Locust, or cloud-native performance testing platforms
o Languages: Java, Python, Groovy, TypeScript.
o CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
o Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS (migration experience is a plus)
o Frameworks: Experience with building scalable test frameworks and service virtualization
o Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Preferred Qualifications
