A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Manual QA Tester – Financial Services / Trading Applications

Position type: Contract

Description

As a Manual QA Tester – Financial Services / Trading Applications, you will: - Perform manual QA testing of front-end trading applications, focusing on front office equities workflows. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, bug fixes, and system upgrades. Validate workflows across Front Office, Middle Office, and Compliance functions (RegNMS, RegSHO, TRACE, CAT, etc.). Report, track, and manage defects in JIRA, and troubleshoot issues using UNIX/Linux, SQL, and Excel. Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of manual QA testing within financial services, especially trading applications.
  • Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office systems.
  • Hands-on experience with FIX protocol, JIRA, UNIX/Linux, SQL, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with compliance reporting requirements and trade lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Pay Range:* OR $60 per hour> *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
