Salary: USD 55–65 per hour
Role & seniority: FPGA Design Verification Engineer (mid-level to senior, contract role)
Stack/tools: OVM/UVM; SystemVerilog; VHDL; scripting: bash/csh, Perl, TCL, Python; FPGA: Xilinx; verification tools: Questa; environment for building scalable simulation
Work on cross-functional team from system architecture and requirements allocation through product release and production of secure, cost-sensitive designs
Define verification methodology for complex FPGAs; develop test plans and scalable simulation environments
Verify complex designs using code/functional coverage, assertions; ensure robust verification workflows
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field
Experience with OVM/UVM and SystemVerilog-based verification
Proficiency with VHDL or similar HDL; scripting skills (bash/csh, Perl, TCL, Python)
Ability to analyze requirements and create test plans; build/test environments from ground up
FPGA design experience
Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA tools and Questa Advanced Functional Verification
Experience in defense/aerospace or secure, cost-sensitive product environments
Optional security clearance (preferred at time of hire)
Location & work type: Taunton, MA; contract (12+ months)
