Job Description

Fortaegis is a fast-scaling, highly ambitious and cutting-edge semiconductor company. We are looking for a PCB design and verification engineer who will support the design, validation, and bring up of custom PCB solutions. Collaborating with our partners to create custom designs including high speed networking, FPGA/MCU as well as Fortaegis proprietary ASIC integration. We are looking for candidates with not only an exceptional skillset, but also an exceptional mindset, willing to go above and beyond to make our breakthrough product even better.

Job Requirements

Strong experience in PCB design for high-speed digital systems Proven knowledge of signal integrity, impedance control, differential pair routing, and high-speed interface design Preferred experience designing for FPGA, MCU, or ASIC-based platforms Solid understanding of power supply design, PDN analysis, and board-level power sequencing Hands-on experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and lab measurements

Job Responsibilities

Closely collaborate with our partners in designing multi layer PCBs Perform schematic reviews Oversee prototype validation, including power validation, interface testing, board bring up and debugging Conduct hardware validation on prototype PCBs Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including hands-on rework Collaborate closely with the FPGA, ASIC, and software teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration
