Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and voice systems industry, is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join their team. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Performance Testing Department supporting the Performance Testing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design and develop performance testing scripts for complex voice and telephony systems, including IVR, SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols. Coordinate with project teams to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Monitor and analyze environment requirements, including media paths, SIP trunks, and voice gateways, to optimize performance testing processes. Integrate testing procedures with CI/CD tools, load generators, and databases to streamline deployment and testing workflows. Conduct detailed analysis of performance metrics, including call success rate, MOS score, and audio quality, providing actionable insights and reports.
What's Needed?
8-10+ years of experience in performance testing, with a focus on voice and telephony systems. Proficiency with performance testing tools such as Dynatrace, LoadRunner, and Splunk. Experience with telephony protocols including SIP, RTP, DTMF, PSTN, TDM, VoIP, and codecs. Strong understanding of PBX, SBCs, carriers, call servers, and IVR infrastructure. Ability to troubleshoot SIP signaling issues, call drops, codec mismatches, and DTMF errors effectively.
