Job Summary

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of various levels of automation, including both functional (UI, API) and non-functional (performance) testing.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing robust test strategies and automation frameworks.
Driving automation across functional testing (UI, API) and non-functional testing (performance).
Strong technical expertise in test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages.
Design, plan, and execute manual and automated tests for web and API applications.
Develop test plans, provide accurate testing estimates, and communicate issues effectively.
Perform Web Services/API testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QE team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Track and report test execution progress and quality metrics.
Comprehensive understanding of the software testing lifecycle
A passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

4+ years of QE/testing experience in Agile environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML.
Hands-on experience with Selenium/WebDriver and API testing tools like JMeter.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with JMeter, Postman, or RestAssured for API testing.
Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
