Summary - As an Software Quality Assurance Associate, you will be instrumental in enhancing our software quality by performing a variety of testing tasks, including designing test cases and identifying defects. Your contributions will ensure our applications meet customer expectations and operate smoothly.
Hybrid: Eight days a month we come together in the closest KS office within 50 miles to experience the value of connecting with colleagues.
Required Job Qualifications
Advanced Test Design: Developing comprehensive and effective test cases.
Defect Management Tools: Using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla for defect tracking.
Automation Frameworks: Basic knowledge of tools like Selenium.
Analytical Thinking: Diagnosing and analyzing software issues.
Communication Skills: Clearly articulating findings and suggestions to stakeholders.
Learning Agility: Quickly adapting and learning new testing methodologies.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Understanding: Knowledge of the stages and activities within SDLC.
Collaboration Skills: Working seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Create detailed and comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications. Conduct functional testing to ensure software modules perform as expected. Use defect tracking tools to log, track, and update reported issues. Assist with the development and execution of automated test scripts. Conduct preliminary root cause analysis of defects. Contribute to the development of test plans and test strategy documents. Participate in user story reviews to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with the CI/CD team to incorporate automated tests in the build pipeline. Participate in sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement. Ensure all testing activities are well-documented for future reference
