We are looking for a SDET (Software Developer in Test) based in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days a week) for 12 Months Contract Job
Understanding the business functionality deeply, not just testing UI clicks. Designing and building automation frameworks and test harnesses (custom test systems, not just using off-the-shelf tools). Writing production-grade code that automates testing of APIs, services, and microservices especially in Java + Spring Boot environments.
Must Have
Looking for SDET who can quickly learn the scope of business to design, develop and maintain automation test harness. Strong coding, analytical and design skills. Ability to code in java and knowledge of spring boot. Experience writing unit tests using mock framework. Experience with API E2E testing tools like Karate and Rest assured. Experience developing automation test cases using Selenium or Playwright. Experience integrating CICD tools (Jenkins/Harness) with automation framework. Experience in Co-pilot for accelerating tests creation, enhancing instructions template Experience setting up in-memory database (H2) for automation harness. Experience developing automation scripts for APIGEE end points. Familiar with processes for SDLC compliance in testing documentation and artifacts (including creating testing traceability matrix, manual test cases writing) Experience in implementing and utilizing test management tool like Octane Experience with load testing tools like JMeter/Blaze meter will be a plus but not mandatory. BDD software development methodology Possess knowledge on Kafka message systems and experience developing test automation scripts using messaging systems
