What To Expect The Autopilot Firmware Platforms team builds foundational systems that enable engineers to develop, validate, iterate, and deliver Tesla’s cutting-edge AI platform. As a part of this team, you will create highly capable test frameworks, scalable infrastructure, and backend services that empower teams to test, analyze, and continuously improve Autopilot firmware with minimal constraints.
In this role, you will design scalable test platforms with novel testing capabilities that are required for new Tesla products and features. You will architect and implement systems that automate test scheduling and execution, visualize and extract insights from complex data, and drive continuous improvement across products and infrastructure. You will deliver robust, modular, and intuitive software that accelerates development cycles, improves efficiency, and ensures Tesla’s products remain at the forefront of the industry. In a fast-paced environment where innovation happens at scale, your contributions will directly shape the reliability, performance, and quality of Tesla’s Autopilot systems.

Expected Compensation
$132,000 - $390,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
