Job Title: QA Automation Tester Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid) Experience

8+ years of total QA experience with a strong focus on functional Automation testing. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Leading QA activities including test planning, execution, and reporting. Proven experience in Functional Test Automation, with a focus on designing robust test strategies and frameworks. Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Octane or similar.

Technical Skills

Strong QA automation experience (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber framework.) Understanding of self-healing test automation techniques.) Test Planning & Strategy Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis Agile Testing Methodology

Automation Frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, or similar Basic understanding of AI-driven quality assurance approaches. Methodical and systematic approach to testing. Experience with REST API automation tools such as Rest or Postman. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Octane.

Version Control: Git, Bitbucket

CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, AWS DevOps (basic understanding preferred)

Good To Have Skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders. Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured) Understanding of DevOps and QAOps practices Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for test environments ISTQB or equivalent QA certification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in Telecom projects is a strong plus.
