QA Testing - Delivery Manager Location: Katy, Houston, TX - 5 days onsite 12 - 18 Months
The Testing Delivery Manager will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of testing services across multiple projects or programs. This role ensures high-quality software releases by managing QA teams, optimizing testing processes, and maintaining alignment with client and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on expertise in test strategy, automation, and delivery governance.
Required Skills & Experience
10 15 years of experience in software testing and QA delivery, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
Strong understanding of test lifecycle management, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and automation frameworks.
Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, Postman, Tosca, or similar.
Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams across onshore/offshore models.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications (preferred): ISTQB Advanced, PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Testing delivery within defined cost, time, and quality parameters.
Client satisfaction (CSAT/NPS scores).
Reduction in defect leakage and production incidents.
Automation coverage and efficiency gains.
Employee engagement and retention within the QA team.
