Company Description We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) to become part of our App & Web Team at ABOUT YOU onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. Our App & Web Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products. What you will do Perform high-quality manual testing for the ABOUT YOU Mobile App, covering the whole customer journey Collaborate closely with app developers to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies Oversee the quality of the application and contribute to creating a strong user experience Take ownership of bug reports or tickets from internal and external stakeholders, prioritise them based on their business value, and ensure timely resolution Contribute to the development and enhancement of ABOUT YOU's long-term automated testing strategy Coordinate app release tasks and perform regression testing Act as an advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team, promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality features Who you are Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and debugging of frontend applications, preferably mobile apps and large-scale projects ​​​​​​​Proficient in manual testing techniques, including exploratory and destructive testing, as well as automated testing Familiarity with process and ticketing tools such as Jira and Confluence, enabling effective collaboration and organisation Strong knowledge and experience with testing tools, particularly TestRail, for efficient test management and reporting Ability to quickly grasp complex technical systems, allowing for efficient testing and debugging activities Detail-oriented approach to testing, with a strong focus on test case design as well as business value and user experience of software Passion for delivering innovative features quickly while maintaining high reliability standards Experience working with agile methodologies and implementing a quality mindset in an agile environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders Fluent in English, demonstrating proficiency in both speaking and writing.
