Testing Infrastructure aims to provide the tooling and infrastructure to allow Datadog developers to ship their changes with ease and confidence. Engineers on this team will have organization-wide impact by increasing development velocity and the reliability of our products and systems. What You'll Do
Work on platforms and tooling that enable engineers to run, debug, and test their services across multiple environments Build out a new integration testing platform and tooling to help onboard new and existing tests Improving our visibility into test health to help developers write and maintain effective tests Champion best practices across the engineering organization
Who You Are
You have a strong interest in testing, CI/CD, or developer experience work, and have experience collaborating with internal or external customer teams You have interests that bridge infrastructure, developer experience, and reliability. You have proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, and/or Java You have familiarity with DevOps and resilience best practices You have strong written and verbal communication skills You take a curious and solution-oriented approach to challenges You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent experience
Bonus Points For
You have experience building out and deploying containerized services with Kubernetes and cloud providers such as AWS or GCP You have driven improvements to testing capabilities and/or practices for developers across teams, platforms, or organizations
