Role & seniority: Senior/Staff Automation Engineer (QA Automation) with leadership/mentoring responsibilities.
Stack/tools: UI and API automation frameworks; automated test suites for payment processing systems; CI/CD integration; performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling); cloud environments (AWS, Azure); containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing; build and run automated test suites for payments and integrations.
Collaborate with software engineers to ensure test coverage, perform code reviews, and provide guidance on testability and automation readiness.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, maintain automation infrastructure, analyze results, triage issues, and contribute to test strategy, documentation, and metrics.
Bachelor’s degree and 6–10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) with strong test automation background.
Deep knowledge of information systems, test automation for UI/API, and ability to drive testability improvements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable, reusable, and reliable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. Develop and execute automated test suites for payment processing systems and related integrations. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes. Perform code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation readiness. Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices. Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure to support evolving product requirements. Analyze test results, triage issues and work with development team to ensure timely resolution. Contribute to test strategy, documentation and reporting of automation metrics and test coverage.
