Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a highly motivated Software Integration and Test Engineer - Level 4 to join our highly qualified and diverse Ground Systems Software Integration and Test team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading and understanding requirements and software design documentation to create comprehensive integration tests, have experience in testing frameworks, integration test development, and an understanding of modern development pipelines. Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and automated test reporting is highly desirable.

This position will be at our site in Aurora, CO. Other supported locations include Linthicum, MD; Redondo Beach, CA, and Morrisville, NC and requires being on‑site only – no remote or hybrid work.

This position is contingent upon successful capture of program award(s), acquisition and retention of customer or business funding, and holding of final security clearances prior to start date.

Basic Qualifications

8 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 6 Years with Masters; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience that may be considered in lieu of a degree. Familiar with software life cycle development principles and processes Experience in software integration and testing with the ability to translate requirements and design documents into test cases Experience with modern Automated Testing Frameworks such as Robot, PyTest, JUnit, or similar

Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required at the time of application with the ability to obtain SCI prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of CI/CD processes and pipeline automation Experience testing applications in Kubernetes environments Experience generating automated test reports through pipelines Experience in Agile methodologies Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience with Gitlab Experience in formal software qualification/requirements verification testing

Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $187,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
