Description
VDURA is a renowned leader in parallel file systems, specializing in distributed storage solutions for the AI and high-performance computing market. We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a critical contributor to our agile development teams, collaborating closely with software engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant storage technologies.
Participate as a core member of agile scrum teams to ensure product quality from the early stages of development through release. Collaborate with software development engineers to define, implement, and execute test strategies for complex distributed systems. Design and develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications. Execute functional, regression, performance, and system-level tests. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Write and maintain automated test scripts and contribute to the enhancement of automated test frameworks. Track test execution, maintain test logs, and report test progress and product quality metrics. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to refine testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in software quality assurance, particularly in storage, distributed systems, or infrastructure technologies. Strong understanding of software development practices, agile methodologies, and DevOps environments. Proficient in writing test code and scripts in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go). Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, pytest, Selenium, etc.). Solid analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to isolate and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test plans, procedures, and results.
Experience with distributed storage technologies (e.g., object storage, parallel file systems, block storage). Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures. Background in AI, HPC, or performance-critical system validation is a strong plus.
