Cloud Automation Engineer (Aria Automation | Terraform | Ansible | Public Cloud)
Role Overview: -
The Cloud Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions across public cloud environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation (vRealize Automation), Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, and configuration management with Ansible. The engineer supports cloud platform operations, drives standardization, and improves deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end automation workflows using VMware Aria Automation, including blueprints, service catalog items, and approval policies.
Build and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, patching, and application deployment.
Integrate IaC and automation pipelines with CI/CD systems such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Ensure governance, compliance, tagging policies, and cloud best practices.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation failures, and cloud provisioning issues.
Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions. Show more Show less
