Job Description: Functional QA Lead (with Performance Testing Experience)
Location - Fountain Valley, CA---Onsite
Duration: 12 months(W2 Only)
We are looking for a Functional QA Lead who combines strong leadership in quality assurance with hands-on expertise in performance testing.
This role will oversee the end-to-end QA process, ensuring functional accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
QA Leadership
Lead and mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Define and implement functional testing strategies, frameworks, and processes. Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance areas. Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Functional Testing
Oversee test case design, execution, and defect management. Validate business requirements and ensure alignment with functional specifications. Collaborate with business and developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure timely delivery of test results
Performance Testing
Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests to validate system performance. Use tools such as JMeter, to simulate real-world usage. Identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to resolve issues quickly. Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Advocate for quality across the software development lifecycle.
