Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Linthicum, MD

Job Description

• Client is looking for a Test Engineer to support our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team. As a member of the Software Engineering department, you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality.

Responsibilities

• Stand-up software test architecture for a legacy COTS application
• Collaborate with developers, SM, and PO's to identify critical tests
• Write and perform all tests to ensure quality software products before software release

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience

Working knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, Winforms Experience in developing unit tests, refactoring code, and smoke tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in creating and deploying a test architecture for legacy applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Utilized Atlassian software suite.
