Must-have skills

  • 5+ years QA experience (manual test case creation/execution, defect tracking, validating results, and testing metrics)

  • 5+ years of communicating test/defect activity with project teams and customers

  • 2+ years ADA accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 AA)

  • 2+ years reviewing & triaging vulnerability scan results

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with public sector/state government projects

  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale QA processes, cross-functional collaboration, and security/compliance requirements

We are seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to support several Michigan-based public sector departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented QA professional who excels in software testing, cross-functional communication, and ensuring system quality across enterprise applications.

In this position, you will play a key role on the Quality Assurance team—supporting both project-based work and ongoing operational needs for critical state departments. You will help ensure secure, fully tested, and user-ready solutions are delivered to business partners.

What You’ll Do

Perform manual software testing to ensure system requirements are accurate, testable, and fully met. Conduct preliminary Client standards reviews (WCAG 2.1 AA). Assist with application vulnerability security scanning. Review partner and vendor deliverables, ensuring high-quality tested solutions. Advocate for adherence to Client policies, procedures, and security standards. Work closely with business partners to uphold quality standards across websites, web applications, mobile sites, and mobile applications. Coordinate QA efforts between technical and business teams. Support system quality, defect management, and customer needs across supported agencies.
