Job Title: Automation Engineer (Ansible & Python)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python scripting and Ansible automation. The ideal candidate will focus on building automation frameworks, writing test scripts, improving test coverage, and leveraging Ansible for configuration automation and environment setup.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python. Create reusable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing. Use Ansible to automate test environment configuration, deployments, and server setups. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.). Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues. Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to improve automation coverage. Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root-cause analysis. Maintain documentation for test cases, automation frameworks, and environment setup. Participate in requirement analysis to design effective test strategies. Ensure best practices in automation, version control, and continuous testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of QA Automation experience. Strong Python scripting experience for test automation. Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and environment provisioning. Experience with automation tools/frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, REST Assured, etc.). Knowledge of API testing and test data validation. Experience with Linux/Unix environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
