Capital Markets Technology, Rates IT group is seeking a QA Engineer for their Rates Derivatives applications. Responsible for test activities/processes create, execute, and enhance manual/automated test process; develop and enhance automation frameworks; design and maintain efficient test environment/setup; document and track software issues and test data Facilitate resolution and communication across functional groups on software issues and release decisions Work with project stakeholders and developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality Coordinate with dependent teams to ensure end to end testing is also covered Establish efficient CI/CD pipeline with DevOps tools like Jenkins, OpenShift, or Github Actions to automate and speed up dev/test cycles
Must Have Undergrad degree from a quantitative discipline Experience in at least one programming language Python, JAVA, C#, C++ Experience in at least one database such as SQL Server, MySql, Sybase Attention to detail and interest in understanding what users of the system need Prior experience with Capital Markets (Not required but big plus) Experience with DevOps tools - Jenkins, GitHub Actions Experience with containerization technology/tools - docker/Kubernetes
