Role & seniority: Senior Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer (high level, independent contributor with scope to influence beyond immediate team)
Stack/tools: C, Python; Windows/Linux/Android OS; automated test design/implementation; manual testing; CI/CD and release engineering; experience with SOC environments
Develop comprehensive software/firmware test plans traceable to feature requirements with full test coverage
Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites; perform manual testing as needed for installation, deployment, and customer experience
Support production-ready software releases and CI/CD processes, debug/diagnose bring-up and workload models, and improve quality processes
Bachelor’s in relevant field with ≥6 years of quality engineering experience (or Master’s ≥5 years, or PhD ≥4 years)
Strong software/firmware test automation experience; proficiency in C and Python
Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android; track record in automated test cases for mobile, compute, and/or automotive platforms; familiarity with SOC release environments
12+ years hands-on QA experience
Background in release engineering and CI/CD pipelines
