We are seeking a highly skilled DB/ETL Tester to join our team and ensure the quality of our data-intensive applications. As a DB/ETL Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for database and ETL processes. Perform data validation, data quality checks, and data profiling. Test data loading, transformation, and integration processes. Conduct performance testing to assess system responsiveness and scalability. Identify, log, and track defects to resolution. Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies. Automate test cases using appropriate tools to improve efficiency.
Required Skills And Experience
Strong knowledge of database concepts, including Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, and SQL Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.) Proficiency in SQL query writing and data analysis. Experience with testing methodologies and techniques (e.g., black-box, white-box, integration testing) Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to identify data anomalies. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) Knowledge of data quality tools and techniques. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
