Role & seniority: Test Mechatronics Engineer, mid-level to senior (3+ years in mechatronic system design)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/mechatronics or related field
3+ years mechatronic system design; 2+ years in mechatronic design
Proficiency with SolidWorks, DAQ/LabVIEW; mechanical/electrical prototyping; embedded systems

Job Purpose and Primary Objectives Benchmark Space Systems is looking for an experienced Test Mechatronics Engineer to join our Avionics team. This role will work closely with engineers to design, build, and test the next-generation of in-space propulsion products for small satellites. Specifically, this person will own the design, development and deployment of test systems ranging from technology development through to production with an emphasis on scalability. This is an on-site role at our Pleasanton, CA location.
