What You Will Be Doing
The Automation Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and
maintenance of automated and AI based solutions to improve legal workflows. This role
requires legal knowledge, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to drive
innovation and efficiency. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with practice and
business stakeholders to drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the firm.
This role also involves continuous monitoring and improvement of automated systems. By
staying at the forefront of legal technology trends, this role will spearhead innovative
projects that significantly improve legal operations and contribute to the overall success of
the organization.
About This Role
Engage with stakeholders to proactively identify process improvement opportunities, gather requirements, design and deliver solutions that align with customer needs. Review, analyze, and model business processes and information flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Propose solutions (including automation and use of AI); identifying alignment with business requirements; making recommendations. Responsible to document process change requirements using the agreed standards, methods, and tools ensuring consistent high-quality output. Responsible for the design and implementation automated solutions using Microsoft Studio ecosystem. Responsible for the definition, development, and delivery processes and systems to ensure that service levels are consistently in alignment with customer experience expectations. Effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and in all departments in order to ensure their engagement and support of business improvement activities. Integrate automation solutions with existing software systems and databases. Provide technical oversight and review of work from junior team members Responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and automations, as well as the enhancement and maintenance of existing ones. Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive can do attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm. Facilities cross-functional collaboration to ensure that automation initiatives are aligned with broader firm goals. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications/What You Will Bring
Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications and Microsoft Copilot Studio Power Apps and AI agents) Strong technical background with a focus on workflow automation and process improvement. Experience in process automation, scripting, and workflow design, and automation tools (Copilot studio: Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, PowerBI) Desire to learn new techniques and skills. Strong analysis, planning, organizing and time management skills. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Interest in and ability to acquire new skills and tackle challenging projects. Ability to work effectively with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environments.
