Flexcube Functional Tester
Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Flexcube Functional Tester to join our Banking project team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in core banking modules, particularly Loans and DDA (Demand Deposit Accounts), and will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and successful implementation of our Flexcube solutions.
Key Responsibilities And Job Duties
Lead and execute functional testing activities primarily focused on the Loans and DDA (Demand Deposit Accounts) modules within the Flexcube application. Conduct comprehensive testing across various retail banking modules, demonstrating a good knowledge of two to three retail banking modules such as CASA (Current and Savings Accounts), Term Deposits (TD), LOANS, and PAYMENTS.
Core Banking Domain Knowledge
Apply hands-on experience working on Flexcube Retail or another comparable Core Banking Application (e.g., Finacle, T24) to validate complex banking processes. Leverage prior experience working in a bank or on a banking project to ensure tests accurately reflect real-world operational scenarios and regulatory requirements.
Testing Principles And Process
Ensure all testing activities adhere to established software testing principles and best practices (e.g., test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle management). Design, create, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements and specifications. Accurately document test results, track defects, and follow through to resolution.
Implementation Support
Actively participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases. Be ready for travel or relocation as required for implementation projects to support client deployment and go-live activities.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 10 years of total experience in functional testing, with a primary focus on core banking applications.
Domain Expertise (Mandatory): Deep functional knowledge and experience in testing the Loans and DDA (Demand Deposit Accounts) modules.
Application Exposure (Mandatory): Must have worked on Flexcube Retail or a similar major core banking application.
Module Knowledge: Good functional knowledge of at least two to three retail banking modules (CASA, TD, LOANS, PAYMENTS).
Testing Foundation: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
Industry Experience: Previous working experience in the banking sector or on banking technology projects.
