Job Description

The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for LOS and LMS applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure coverage.
Perform API testing and validate integration points with third-party services.
Work closely with automation engineers to enhance test automation coverage where applicable.
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support and ensure business requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for lending applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the lending domain.
Strong understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
Experience with manual testing and a basic understanding of test automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
