DESCRIPTION
Join Apple's innovative team where you will contribute to the development and verification of cutting-edge wireless technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Verification and Integration Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our 4G/5G firmware. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience. Expertise in 4G/5G 3GPP physical layer and protocol stack procedures and configurations. Demonstrated experience in Modem system test plan and feature release planning for 4G/5G functional and performance scenarios. Strong understanding of 4G/5G signaling and physical layer Test Equipments, including their automation interfaces. Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and collaborate effectively with development/design teams for resolution. Proficiency with source code control tools. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new architectures and frameworks. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or complex system verification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java).
