Key job responsibilities

Understanding how all elements of the Voice and mobile Experience ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented Ensure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionals Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality

About The Team

As the QAE on the Amazon Music Internationalization QA Team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can ask for what they want to hear in Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music or Ad-supported Free Tier in international markets. You will lead the efforts to ensure that the Quality of the Amazon Music Experience is the best.

The ideal candidate is interested in being part of an agile team, passionate about innovating for customers, and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements.

You should be a person that pays close attention to details and is driven to deliver solutions that delight customers.

Basic Qualifications

Experience working with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodology and tools Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl Fluency in Japanese, English, and Spanish - Must be able to speak, write, and read fluently in all three languages

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in API & Mobile testing Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control Experience managing large teams across multiple locations and languages Experience working with Voice Assistants Self-directed, demonstrate leadership potential and a team player Excellent written and oral communication skills
